Here is a warning for all of you out there looking to take advantage of the 2009/2010 energy star tax credit before it expires December 31st…..it has come to my attention that many of our competitors are claiming that their products meet the strict requirements necessary to earn homeowners the 30% credit on the material costs.  If they cannot produce the paperwork necessary for you to file for your tax credit then it is likely that their statement is not true.  Only Hunter Douglas and Comfortex have been granted energy star ratings for particular products  – talk to a window treatment professional today and ask to see the documentation.
